Salary Range : $61,500- $83,100 annually Hiring Range : $61,500 - $69,200 annually Job Summary : The City of Greeley is seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Outreach Specialist.

This role will build strong and long-lasting relationships with the communities we serve, working closely with community members, organizations, and leaders to build and strengthen connections that support the City's mission and goals.

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as sociology, communications, public relations, or marketing field from an accredited college or university. Preferred Requirements
• Two to four (2-4) years’ experience in community outreach, relationship building, and event planning.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.
• Professional or lived experience working with diverse communities, including underrepresented and marginalized groups. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team and to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of community resources, issues, and trends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and social media platforms.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as necessary.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Essential Functions :
• Develop and implement outreach strategies to engage and build relationships with diverse communities, including but not limited to community organizations, schools, businesses, faith-based groups, neighborhood associations, and government agencies.
• Identify and cultivate relationships with key stakeholders and community leaders to promote the City's initiatives, events, and activities.
• Plan and coordinate community events, workshops, and outreach programs that align with the City’s mission and goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment of outreach strategies with organizational objectives.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of community contacts, partners, and resources.
• Monitor and analyze community feedback and insights to improve outreach efforts and inform organizational decision-making.
• Act as a liaison between the City of Greeley and the community, serving as a representative at community events, meetings, and forums.
• Prepare and distribute outreach materials, including flyers, brochures, and newsletters.
• Develop and establish best practices for the City on outreach and engagement, serving as an outreach resource and community expert for the city.

• The employee is occasionally required to stand.
• The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 10 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
• Vision enough to read computer keyboards, reference books and other written documents.
• Communication skills sufficient to convey information to the public via telephone and in person.
• Manual dexterity sufficient to accurately input, retrieve and verify work assignments.
